A great opportunity to join EEM Ltd in Annesley, Nottingham. Supporting the Data Manager in all aspects of data management, extraction to analyse and produce reports.  This is a varied and interesting role for a keen and ambitious apprentice.  You will be working as part of a supportive and friendly team and your main responsibilities will include duties such as:

  • To support the Data Manager in all aspects of data management, extraction, to analyse, produce reports;
  • To support the business and its membership in the provision of a cost efficient and effective benchmarking service;
  • To monitor the levels of access to the online Pricebook and to identify possible breaches of members;
  • To support the Data Manager in preparation work and in meetings with manufacturers, contractors, suppliers and distributors to ensure and verify that all rates held within the online quotations system are current;
  • To attend events and or meetings as necessary being a representative of the company;

Weekly wage £203.50

37 hours per week – Flexitime

Due to increasing demand for our services we are looking to recruit an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team based in Annesley, Nottingham. You will be in charge of creating and issuing OJEU compliant tenders for goods, works and services preferably in the construction industry. Previous experience working in a procurement role in the public sector is essential. Immediate start available.

Required:

-Experience of undertaking procurement activity through the EU

-Previous experience working in a procurement role in the public sector

-Positive/proactive attitude and experience of working in a team

You will be expected to create tender documents to refresh to meet current legislation and use an e-procurement portal that the company manages to secure contractors or suppliers that offer best value.

You will form part of a team and therefore will not be the sole procurement professional.

Immediate start available.

37 hours per week – Flexitime

Salary: £23,398
