8am – 10am
One of our contractors, Groundwork Greater Nottingham, is running a free breakfast workshop which I would like to bring to your attention.
The event will launch Experience Works, an exciting initiative which will provide businesses with a streamlined recruitment solution. Experience Works utilises work experience to replace traditional recruitment processes, saving you time and money and provides you with a better opportunity to assess applicants’ suitability, reliability and commitment.
The launch will give you the opportunity to find out more about Experience Works, a local collaboration with the national schemes: Movement to Work (MtW), Youth Employment UK (YEUK) and Talent Match Mark. The ethos of Experience Works is to support businesses to recruitment through an effective and socially responsible model which also tackles youth unemployment across D2N2.
This business breakfast event will run from 08:00 to 10:00 with key note speakers, information stands, networking opportunities and includes buffet breakfast.

East Leake Factory, Leicestershire
Leicestershire has a long mining history so being able to go and take a look at a working mine to learn about the process is fascinating.
East Leake is the Head Office site of British Gypsum and includes all of the company’s main central facilities including R&D and testing laboratories, IT, marketing, technical and customer service centres.
You will see first-hand how the gypsum is collected before visiting the factory to then see how it becomes the plaster that goes on the walls of our homes and offices.
The full itinerary will be confirmed closer to the time. Visitors are to bring their own PPE for this trip.
If you are an EEM member interested in attending one of these events, please email email@example.com
