What are the benefits of using an EEM framework or DPS?

EEM membership is free and provides unlimited access to fully compliant procurement arrangements covering a multitude of work streams for repairs, maintenance, refurbishment and new build projects.

Members benefit from competitive pricing due the mass buying power achieved by EEM compliantly procuring goods and services on behalf of all members and the strong relationships we build with suppliers.

Using EEM means that members do not need to run their own lengthy procurement processes which results in cost and efficiency savings. Members benefit from access to well-researched and up-to-date specifications created by our experienced and CIPS-qualified procurement professionals.

Our pre-vetting and due-diligence processes provide members with assurance that they will be selecting suitably qualified and accredited, financially stable providers with trusted references and relevant sector experience.

Our Member Support Officers provide comprehensive support throughout the set up and duration of each project, including review meetings and assistance with any dispute handling. We will also provide and draft the relevant form of contract for each project.

For materials, EEM has a Supply Chain Team who work hard to keep price files up-to-date with the latest products at competitive prices. EEM meets with manufacturers regularly to ensure to price increases are negotiated for the next financial year. Where possible prices are fixed to the budget year to enable members to plan spend accurately. EEM analyses member spend through our key material merchants and validates what has been invoiced to ensure members are charged the agreed prices for items purchased.

As a not-for-profit organisation, EEM chooses to distribute all surplus to members in the form of Community Donations which may be spent on any project that benefits local communities. Read more about Community Donations.

EEM facilitates training events for members covering latest legislation and compliance updates, the majority of which are free to attend.

Members are encouraged to be involved in our tender and evaluation processes to help shape our frameworks and share expertise, knowledge and best practice.

If you would like to discuss any of the above, please contact our Business Relationship Manager, Richard Kinnaird on Richard@eem.org.uk or call 01246 395 612
