The Role

Fixed 18 months contract for maternity cover.

The Procurement Officer role is to undertake the compliant public procurement of frameworks, dynamic markets and call off contracts, providing an efficient and effective procurement service to EEM Members and Users. This role is responsible for the full management of the tender process from initial research through to award. 

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing end-to-end tender processes for EEM frameworks and dynamic markets, ensuring full compliance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023. This includes preparing high-quality tender documentation, specifications, evaluation materials, and legal agreements; publishing tender notices; and overseeing evaluations involving complex pricing and multiple stakeholders. The role also involves managing DPS applications and reviews, conducting financial credit checks, and providing expert guidance to members on mini-competitions and contract awards. The successful candidate will ensure all procurement activity aligns with EEM policies and current legislation, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of public sector procurement regulations. The role will be based from our offices in South Normanton.

  • Salary: £32,792 – £37,359 per annum (starting salary will depend on experience and qualifications)
  • Monday to Friday
  • 37 hours per week
  • Flexitime around the core hours 9am and 3pm
  • No overtime or weekend work
