EEM is a not-for-profit procurement consortium set up to drive cost and efficiency savings in the public sector. Since 2010, EEM and its members have worked together to deliver comprehensive yet simplified procurement solutions, which offer a wide range of compliant, competitive and high-quality products and services.

EEM’s vision is to develop a collaborative working approach, which delivers the fullest possible range of organisational, financial and social benefits.

NO MEMBERSHIP FEES OR access fees

All EEM services are free to publicly funded organisations, and there are no upfront costs to access our procurement solutions. Instead, we take a small commission directly from suppliers, so you’ll never pay EEM directly. This keeps budgeting simple and the procurement process hassle-free.

COMMUNITIES WE SERVE

We recognise our responsibility to make a positive difference in the communities where our members work. As a not-for-profit, we reinvest our surplus through our Community Donations scheme, giving thousands of pounds back to members each year.

We launched our Efficiency East Midlands Foundation in 2025, offering grants to support local projects that help people develop life skills, access new opportunities, and move into employment.
