EEM Community Donation Scheme
As a not-for-profit organisation, we choose to distribute our operating surplus back to our members in the form of Community Donations.
In 2025, we distributed £650,000 to 148 of our members through this scheme, bringing the total to over £3.2 million since 2014.
Donations range between £250 and £25,000 and in the past have funded:
- Donations to community groups, charities or foodbanks
- Contributions to existing community fund pots
- Donations to Mayor’s Charities
- Community events, activities and engagement days
- Tenant training and advice – IT, Cooking, Finance etc
- Cost of living crisis initiatives
- Community centre refurbishments
- Communal area upgrades
- Many other projects that benefit communities
How are Community Donations Calculated?
Community Donations are split proportionally between members, based on their spend through EEM frameworks and DPSs in the previous financial year.
Suppliers’ spend on materials through our supply chain for contracts with EEM members also contributes to members’ Community Donations.
